Hey there! Welcome to my portfolio website. I would love for you to get to know me a little better and discover how my passions inspire the work I do.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES
I am a graduate from the University of North Dakota with a B.S. in Graphic Design Technology and a B.A. in Communication along with a minor in Graphic Design. In life and in my career, I love being a team leader, solving problems, taking action, listening to & helping others, being innovative, continually working to improve myself while spread positivity.
STUDYING ABROAD
Fortunately, I had the opportunity to study abroad with Semester at Sea during Spring 2020 where I took courses on a ship, The M.V. World Odyssey, and sailed across the world stopping at different ports. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, our voyage was majorly affected, causing us to reroute multiple times. This journey caused a major shift in my attitude toward life and taught me so many important lessons. I learned that life never goes how we plan it & to adapt to anything that comes your way; the people who stand beside you throughout the journey are far more important than any destination; stepping outside of your comfort zone and taking risks will bring much more to your life than what is easy and comfortable. This experience caused a change in my mindset that was necessary and shaped me into a more positive, courageous, flexible, adaptable, and understanding individual. PURPOSE
Now that you know a little about me, it's important you know what I truly value. I am a hard-worker who appreciates the presence of other people and finds inspiration in anything that is new and exciting. Traveling fuels my love for culture. I love learning about why places and people are the way they are. I think it is beautiful and we can learn a lot from our differences. New places and fun experiences are my absolute favorite because of my curious spirit and love for visual inspiration that I can apply to my designs. Fun fact—I find underwater exploration to be the most inspiring!
Designing is what I love. It is a natural love I have had since I was young. Year after year I find new reasons why I love what I do. I don't consider what I do "work," I consider it fulfilling my passion. I always have a desire to create and anytime I am doing something creative, I have an instant sense of joy and peace.

ROOTS
I grew up on a farm in a small town in southeast North Dakota. Since I was young, I have developed a strong passion for working hard and appreciating the little things in life.
I currently reside in south Florida where I love to enjoy anything outdoors — new restaurants, volleyball, basketball, camping, kayaking, hiking, scuba diving, relaxing at the beach and anything on and in the water!
